SINGAPORE: Channel 5's weekly music show, "Live n Loaded" has already seen some 220 entries from budding young bands, surpassing producers' expectations.

This week's show upped the bar with three new bands taking the stage.

The interactive format sees bands submitting clips online before the best is selected by experts in the business.

Netizens too get to pick their favourite band which then receives precious minutes on air.

The "Live n Loaded" site has seen more than 800,000 page views, with some 27,000 members of the public logging on and voting for their favourites.

One of Singapore's top samba percussion troupes "Wicked Aura Batucada" took to the stage for this week's rocking performance.

The show also saw a record turnout of fans thronging MediaCorp.
